Pony Ply Splitting Needle 6.50mm

Unfortunately this doesn't really do the job it is supposed to do; the slot doesn't grip the splitting cord to pull it through the split cords, and the slot is a bit too short to allow you to split more than 4 or 5 cords before the split cords push up onto the thicker part of the shaft and it stretches everything a bit more than it should. The point is also a bit too rounded to easily split the plies, and the metal is too thin to file down and reshape without making a hole in it. These were disappointing and not suitable for the job without serious adjustments.
