Tension and tools required: 17 standard treble stitches across and 10 rows measures 10cm x 10cm using a 4.5mm hook. With the Big Value DK use a 4.5mm hook (or hook to match tension) plus a 5mm for the mosaic crochet squares. You will also need stitch markers, yarn needle, and scissors.
This blanket is made using a combination of different squares and rectangles and a few different stitching techniques. The pattern starts with the large central window rectangle. Two rectangles and eight smaller squares are then crocheted and joined together around the central rectangle. Rounds are then crocheted around the entire blanket.
