I originally bought two balls of this yarn when I visited the warehouse. I live fairly close to it but due to their opening times, I've not been able to visit before. I had some time off work so planned a visit. It is an amazing place and staff are very friendly. I dropped in unannounced, yet there was no hesitation in letting me in. There are so many amazing yarns. As this is a warehouse, there are no prices on the shelves, so I used their website on my phone to find that.
I changed my mind on what I wanted to make with this after buying the yarn, so I ordered another ball to be delivered. Delivery was very quick and I used the notes section to request the same dye lot as the other two balls, so very happy with the service and fact that the website allows you to make requests like that.
The first two balls didn't have any joins in them at all. The third ball had so many joins in it after getting about halfway into the ball. There were about 6 or 7 joins, very close together. I've never found so many in one ball before, as sometimes you get a join, but not this many and every metre or so. It happened on the sleeves on the bolero, and the joins were on every row, that's how close together the joins were. As I was making something that I needed to wear for a wedding and I didn't have time to unravel it and wait for another ball to arrive, I carried on with it. Apart from that, this is a nice quality yarn and it washes well (as I always wash my projects after I have finished and before I wear it).
The number of joins in the third ball is obviously nothing to do with the shop, just very disappointed with Stylecraft for allowing this to happen.
Great yarn a lovely shade and so soft nice to knit with and no splitting.

Lovely soft Corton bamboo mix with a wonderful lustre. Yarn crochets nicely with good stitch definition and not prone to splitting. Not made up yet but hope it will give a really nice drape to a baby blanket.
