The inspiration for the blanket was the seasonal weather of the UK, with each section of the design reflecting a different seasonal theme. For example, in July and August the design was based on sunny skies and flowers, whereas in January the focus was grey snowy weather, which I represented by using crochet puff stitches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blanket is worked in rows in a sampler style and is made in 4 sections, which are joined together to make one big blanket. Like all my crochet along projects I designed this one in a way that made it a great learning tool. It gets progressively harder so that you can build your crochet skills. All patterns include step-by-step images and detailed instructions throughout.
